John White of Kansas Regional Division first visited Greensburg Sunday, May 6, 2007, supplying water and personal care items. He is currently helping assess needs as Orphan Grain Train continues to support for the recovery and rebuilding process.

Orphan Grain Train's fresh water tanker arrived at Greensburg on May 17, 2007 in response to a request from FEMA representative Mary Richards to White. On May 30, Kansas Division delivered a refrigerated semi trailer for food storage.

The tanker and trailer helped support a mobile kitchen run by the Kansas West Conference of the United Methodist Church which is cooking meals for cleanup volunteers and workers.
