Wonderful Thank You Notes Received from Republic of Georgia

We received more photos and many ‘Thank you’ notes from children that received donations from Wichita Branch shipment to Foundation of the Blind in Romania. Included in the shipment was new eye glasses, school kits, toys, clothing and other aid. So many children and adults blessed by dedicated Wichita donors and volunteers! One of the photos has the notes from children sharing gratitude for the gifts and they are listed below.
I am happy to send you some more pictures of the folded packages.
We also shared the glasses sent, especially since our community is composed of members with vision problems who wear glasses. People were very excited about glasses, these instruments that help the sight.
I am very happy that I managed to share the packages for children and we will also delight you with this joy of children by attaching some thanks from them, translated below:
My name is Gabi and I am 9 years old, I am so happy that this year I received a gift just for me. I have 6 brothers and we always share our clothes, slippers, school supplies. And being among the youngest in the family, I don’t have my own things, only when I receive a Christmas gift, all the contents of the gift belong to me because my brothers also receive a gift each.
I liked the toys and school supplies I received the most!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the gifts sent and I look forward to seeing you next year!
My name is Claudia, I am 10 years old and I have 3 brothers. I am very glad that you thought of me this year and I received such a beautiful gift. Since then, I have always worn the hat, the scarf and the pink gloves that I discovered as a gift. All my friends at school appreciated my clothes and praised me.
Thank you for all the things in the gift and I want you to come to me next year too!
I’m 4 years old and I don’t know how to write, but I want to thank you for the gift you brought me, the toys and the colored pencils that I paint with all day!
I’m Irinel and I’m 5 years old, my mother told me that if I’m good I’ll get a present and I’ve been good all year to get a present at Christmas. I liked the toy and colored pens I received and thank you for such a beautiful gift!
My name is David, I’m 8 years old and I’m in the second grade and I’m so happy that I received colored pencils and a coloring book as a present this year, which I shared with my younger brother Luca. Luca has had a problem since he was little and can’t walk, he uses a wheelchair and during the winter vacation I played with him and he liked coloring with me in the coloring book the most. My brother was so happy and I thank you from two happy hearts, me and my brother!
Estera and Elisa, we are 10-year-old twin sisters, we like to play with the extras and to fasten our hair with different clips and colored elastics. We liked it a lot when we received clasps and hair clips as gifts. We did so many hairstyles with them and we thank you with many kisses, a kiss for each one!
Dear God-God, I give you many hugs and kisses for the gift you sent me. I’m a girl named Daniela, 9 years old, who can’t see well with her eyes and I’ve been in hospitals for a long time, I’ve always wanted to have a toy of my own that sings on its own. I am so happy!
We are a group of 4 brothers: Ciprian, Alex, Costel and Aron and we want to hug you all at once for the gifts given. We will be obedient, polite, we will get good grades at school so that we can receive gifts next year as well! Pencils, pens and cariocas are what we needed to be able to write at school, but the toys are the most beautiful!
