Aid Brought Smiles to Many in Romania
New England Branch’s donations of clothing and other aid were shared by Foundation of the Blind in Romania. The first picture is Andrei, a 10-year-old boy who has been bedridden since birth and was happy to receive his first wheelchair with which he can go outside from now on. ‘May you have good health, as this is the most important thing for what you have done for our son!’ Boxes were shared with some large families, that in a house live 2 or even 3 families. Each family has 5 or 6 members and 3 generations live together; children, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts. Poverty is high in this region with small homes for the families which were grateful for the gifts given. Praise be to God!
