Wisconsin Branch volunteers recently loaded two shipments of aid for Maui. Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kahului is grateful to be receiving 49,032 Food for Kidz meals, various other food, bottled water and supplies for the many families still traumatized from the horrific fire. Norfolk warehouse volunteers loaded cleaning supplies, several pallets of various foods and hygiene supplies for Broadmoor Community Church food pantry in New Orleans. The food pantry continues to serve many families still recovering from hurricane Ida and those living in poverty. Some of the cleaning supplies are being stored to prepare for upcoming disasters.

OGT’s second shipment of aid to Maui was unloaded last week with plans to be distributed soon. The container included Mercy Meals, various food, memorial crosses donated by Lutheran Church Charities, generators and other aid from the Norfolk warehouse. Thank you, OGT supporters for making these much-needed shipments possible.
