Christmas Boxes Will Bless Those Served by Christian Family Care in Phoenix
The Outreach Committee at Epiphany Lutheran Church-Chandler, AZ and OGT’s Phoenix Branch, partnered for a second year for a Christmas in July project to provide Foster Care children with needed items. Epiphany had a special Christmas service and 40 OGT Christmas Gift Boxes received a special blessing before delivery to Christian Family Care in Phoenix. Each July the school-age children in their foster placements receive a backpack to start the school year. Our goal for the Christmas in July was to also share the story of Jesus’ birth and gifts for the younger children.
