Disaster Relief Efforts for Hurricane Helene

The brutal force of the massive storm in N. Carolina and surrounding states has left unbelievable destruction and death behind.  Hundreds of miles of roads are destroyed along with having no power, running water or cell phone reception in several states.  Orphan Grain Train is working on ways we can help.  We are currently in contact with Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders, whom we have partnered with in the past with hurricane disaster in St. Charles, LA and the freeze in Houston, Texas.  See below for list of needed items and shipments of disaster relief food & supplies delivered.  We also had a request for our portable kitchen, bedroom unit & shower unit which a location for set up is being considered.

Norfolk warehouse in Nebraska is in need of disaster supplies (see below) for Helene disaster relief. We are working with Sally Hiller & Ed Grant with LCMS Southeastern District and Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Asheville where distribution will take place.

This will be a costly disaster with helping many families, first with basic care needs, food & clean up.  If you would like to donate to this cause, please click the button and in the comments put Hurricane Helene.
